Dear guests,
We would like to extend a warm welcome to our hotel Kimen and briefly familiarise you with our house rules.
- During your stay, please help us protect our natural environment by being mindful of your water and electricity consumption.
- The air conditioning unit switches off when the entrance or balcony doors to your room are opened.
- The voltage is 220 V.
- Visitors or business meetings should be received in the hotel's public areas, such as the bar, restaurant or lobby, and not in your room.
- For fire safety reasons, the lighting of candles and the use of flammable materials is prohibited. Smoking is not permitted in enclosed spaces.
- Please use the rooms, devices, equipment and furnishings made available to you with care, as a good host would.
- Please report any faults or complaints about the service to reception immediately.
- Please note that you are responsible for any damage caused by you or by anyone in your charge, and you will be required to cover the cost of such damage.
- Board meals are served at the following times:
- buffet–breakfast 07:00–10:00
- Dinner 19:00–21:00
- Please inform reception of your request for a packed lunch and any meal changes by 21:00 the day before, or by 08:00 on the day of departure.
- A safe is available in your room for your money, securities and other valuables. Instructions for its use are provided on the unit. The hotel accepts no liability for any theft or loss.
- Please be considerate of other guests who wish to rest and avoid making noise in your room or in the corridors after 23:00.
- For safety and hygiene reasons, preparing hot meals or drinks in the room is not permitted.
- Please read and adhere to the fire safety instructions posted in the corridors.
- Please report any lost or found items to reception.
- On the day of your departure, please vacate your room by 11:00 a.m. A stay in the room beyond 12:00 p.m. will incur a charge for an additional day.
- If a guest with a confirmed booking from the Sales and Marketing Department or Kimen Hotel departs early or arrives late, they are required to pay a compensation fee as follows:
- if the late arrival or early departure of the guest reduces the previously confirmed reservation by one day, the actual stay plus an additional day must be charged,
- if a previously confirmed reservation is reduced by one day due to a guest's late arrival or early departure, the actual stay must be charged for, as well as an additional day,
- if a late arrival or early departure by the guest reduces a previously confirmed reservation of three or more days, the actual stay must be charged for, plus an additional three days.
- A change to an already confirmed reservation for a stay at the Kimen Hotel within 14 days of the arrival date is only possible in writing. Following written confirmation of the reservation change by the hotel or the Sales Department, an additional charge will be applied (depending on the number of days the reservation is changed), in order to ensure the hotel can continue to operate without disruption.
- Hotel Kimen reserves the right to offer the room, suite or apartment to other interested parties after 24 hours from the confirmed date of arrival, if a change to the previous reservation has not been explicitly announced and confirmed in writing.
- A guest who has not notified the hotel of their late arrival is not entitled to claim compensation or to have their previously confirmed accommodation held.
- Please handle your key card with care. Should it be damaged or lost during your stay, we will charge a replacement fee of €20 to your account (Price as of 10.09.2026: €20.00).
- Upon leaving the hotel, please remember to hand in your key or key card at reception.
- We reserve the right to terminate the contract and cease providing services to guests who grossly violate the provisions of these house rules, or whose behaviour causes damage to or disturbs other guests in the hotel.
